Qualifications:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Proficient in data collection and analysis to inform treatment plans
Location:
Aurora, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on the implementation of BIPs
- Deliver direct services to students requiring behavioral interventions, three days a week
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions
