1:1 Care School Nurse Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Gastonia, North Carolina

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 2) position is available to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student with medical needs in an elementary school setting. This full-time, school-year contract role offers the opportunity to support the student’s health and well-being throughout the 2025–2026 academic year.

Location:

• Gastonia, NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized 1:1 care to a student with medical needs during school hours
• Monitor and document oxygen levels regularly
• Perform tube feedings in accordance with the student’s care plan
• Collaborate closely with the on-site school nurse, who administers oxygen as needed
• Maintain a calm and supportive presence to ensure the student’s comfort and safety

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active CNA-2 certification is required
• Experience with tube feeding and oxygen monitoring is strongly preferred
• Prior school-based healthcare experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with educational staff
• Ability to work comfortably in a classroom environment supporting a student with medical needs
