A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-2) is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student with medical needs during the 2025–26 school year in an elementary school setting in Mooresville, NC. This full-time, contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the health and well-being of a young learner in a vibrant educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personalized 1:1 nursing assistance throughout the school day
  • Monitoring and documenting oxygen levels continuously
  • Performing tube feedings according to the student’s care plan
  • Collaborating closely with the on-site school nurse regarding oxygen administration and overall health management
  • Maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor to foster the student’s comfort and safety

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Active CNA-2 certification is required
  • Proven experience with tube feeding and oxygen monitoring is strongly preferred
  • Previous exposure to school-based healthcare settings is an asset but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively partner with educators and medical staff
  • Ability to work confidently within a classroom alongside educational personnel

Location: Elementary school in Mooresville, North Carolina
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Contract Duration: School year 2025–2026, starting August 2025
