A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Auburn, WA. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide hands-on support and therapeutic services to students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade in an engaging school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students with diverse needs in a full-time, in-person format
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, tailoring interventions to improve daily living and academic performance
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and healthcare guidelines
- Participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care and support student success
Qualifications:
- Valid COTA certification with experience in healthcare and school settings
- Ability to work effectively with children across a broad age range from Pre-K through 12th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to work full-time, in person, and adhere to the school year schedule
