A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a K-12 school setting. This role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, providing therapy services across two charter schools in the Aurora area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy interventions tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Collaborating with educators, therapists, and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches as necessary.
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation.
  • Maintaining compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.

Desired qualifications:

  • Certification as a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience providing therapy services in a school-based setting, preferably K-12.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to accommodate diverse student needs.

This part-time role requires availability for approximately 28 hours per week, supporting two charter schools within the Aurora area, with service delivery scheduled throughout the school semester.
