An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional with a focus on occupational therapy within an educational setting. This role is designed for the 2025-2026 school year, catering to a K-12th grade caseload and requiring a commitment to full-time hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Pennsylvania Certification
- Current Pennsylvania state COTA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Location:
- Easton, PA
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implement therapeutic activities designed to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive care and support for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
