COTA in Long Beach, CA

A part-time opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an elementary school caseload. This position offers 20-25 hours per week, serving students onsite with school-based occupational therapy support. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to an elementary school caseload
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student goals
• Participate in progress monitoring and documentation in accordance with school policies
• Maintain compliance with all state licensure and school-based therapy requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California
• Proven experience working in school-based settings, preferably within an elementary school environment
• Ability to work onsite consistently and engage with the school community
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
