COTA in Martinsville, VA

Provide occupational therapy support in a school setting serving a K-12 caseload. This full-time, contract position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside two virtual occupational therapists to deliver comprehensive services to students. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions and evaluations to K-12 students
• Collaborate with virtual occupational therapists to ensure coordinated care
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school regulations
• Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with educators and families

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable collaborating remotely with virtual therapists

Location: Position is based in Martinsville, VA, with services extending to the surrounding area including Danville, VA (just across the North Carolina border) and locations within approximately 1.5 hours south of Roanoke, VA. Candidates within this region are encouraged to apply.
