School-Based COTA | Ridgeway, Virginia

An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This full-time contract position runs through the current school year and is located in the Ridgeway, VA area, close to Danville and just across the North Carolina border. The community is approximately 1.5 hours south of Roanoke. Candidates from surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include supporting students across the K-12 caseload under the supervision of occupational therapists. The successful candidate will collaborate with two virtual OTs to implement individualized therapy plans that enhance student participation and success in school activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with virtual therapy professionals
