This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide specialized support to K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Roseville, CA. This is a contract role for the current school year (CSY) designed for professionals passionate about promoting student development through occupational therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
  • Valid state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Minimum of one year recent experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
  • Completion of continuing education credits and professional development as required by state and district regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in delivering occupational therapy services tailored to students’ educational and developmental needs
  • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions aligned with individualized goals
  • Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with the OT to revise treatment plans as necessary
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support holistic student success
  • Ensure compliance with all state and district record-keeping requirements
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain up-to-date therapeutic practices
