Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in San Jacinto, CA

An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in San Jacinto, CA. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and involves working directly with students to enhance their occupational therapy goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation and treatment plans
• Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participating in team meetings and communicating with caregivers as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Valid COTA certification
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in a school environment preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 student populations and educational requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team
