Location: Stamford, CT
Duration: Full Semester
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Position Type: Itinerant, serving multiple locations within the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions and supports for students preschool through 8th grade
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide consultative services to school staff to promote inclusive strategies and accommodations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines related to occupational therapy services
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and therapy techniques
