This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience in educational settings. The position supports students from preschool through 8th grade in an elementary school environment, providing essential occupational therapy services to support developmental and academic growth.

Location: Stamford, CT
Duration: Full Semester
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Position Type: Itinerant, serving multiple locations within the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions and supports for students preschool through 8th grade
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Provide consultative services to school staff to promote inclusive strategies and accommodations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines related to occupational therapy services

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
