A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in two charter schools located in the Aurora area. This role offers a structured 28-hour workweek, providing the chance to contribute to student development in an engaging educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services and support to students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to support student success.
- Promote functional independence and enhance students' participation in school activities.
Qualifications:
- Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience working within school-based settings, preferably K-12 environments.
