A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in two charter schools located in the Aurora area. This role offers a structured 28-hour workweek, providing the chance to contribute to student development in an engaging educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services and support to students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to support student success.
  • Promote functional independence and enhance students' participation in school activities.

Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working within school-based settings, preferably K-12 environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Location:

  • Aurora, Colorado area, serving two charter schools.
