A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed mental health professional dedicated to supporting students in a K-12 educational environment. This full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year focuses on providing vital counseling services and interventions to help students thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications:

• Active NM PED certification
• Current licensure from the Board of Counseling and Therapy Practice for Mental Health Counseling
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in Tier One interventions
• Strong understanding of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in grades K-12
• Assist in the development and implementation of Tier One interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student behavioral and emotional needs
• Implement strategies aligned with PBIS to promote positive student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
