Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Master’s degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in an inclusive setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment tailored to the needs of deaf or hard of hearing students.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance students’ learning experiences.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Engage students in developmentally appropriate activities that promote social and academic growth.
