This role serves students from birth to age 22 across multiple school buildings within several member districts, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Manage a diverse caseload independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
- Adapt and modify teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Maintain clear and ongoing communication with families, staff, and external professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing across a broad age range.
- Ability to work both independently and effectively within team settings.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
- Self-motivation and initiative in managing responsibilities and caseload.
- Familiarity with relevant instructional strategies and assistive technologies.
