Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) in Holdingford, MN

An educational opportunity is available for a dedicated Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist to provide full-time support from late August through the end of May. This role serves students from birth to age 22 across multiple school buildings within several member districts, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Manage a diverse caseload independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
• Adapt and modify teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with families, staff, and external professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing across a broad age range.
• Ability to work both independently and effectively within team settings.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
• Self-motivation and initiative in managing responsibilities and caseload.
• Familiarity with relevant instructional strategies and assistive technologies.
