This full-time position is for a Deaf / Hard of Hearing (DHH) Aide based in Moreno Valley, CA, serving an Early Childhood School community. The role offers a contract lasting through the current school year (CSY), with an immediate start and commitment through the end of the school year (EOSY). The position requires a dedicated professional with specialized skills to support students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Deaf / Hard of Hearing specialists and teachers in delivering quality education and support tailored to students' needs
  • Facilitate communication access, including the use of assistive technology and accommodations
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities for DHH students
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for young learners

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Deaf / Hard of Hearing specialist or aide in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of communication strategies and accommodations for DHH students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
  • Commitment to supporting early childhood educational goals for students with hearing differences

Position Details:

  • Location: Moreno Valley, California
  • Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Term: Contract role through the end of the school year
  • Start: Immediate availability required
  • Note: Vocational rehabilitation referrals are not accepted for this position
