Educational Diagnostician in Frisco, TX

An opportunity is available for an Educational Diagnostician to support K-12 students in assessing and identifying their learning needs. This position involves collaborating with educators and families to develop appropriate educational plans that promote student success.

Location:

• Frisco, TX

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and developmental abilities.
• Interpret assessment data to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to design Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and recommend modifications as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments and reports in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Provide guidance and training to school personnel regarding assessment procedures and student accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification.
• Experience with educational assessments and eligibility determination in K-12 settings.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, guidelines, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize caseload responsibilities.
