This full-time, onsite position offers 37.5 hours per week in Tyler, TX. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
- Experience conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and eligibility criteria
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough psychological and educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Interpreting evaluation data and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with school teams and families to provide recommendations and support for student success
- Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Providing ongoing consultation and guidance to educational staff regarding assessment results and student needs
