Diagnostician - Pflugerville, Texas

A K-12 school in the Austin, TX area is seeking an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support their diverse student population. This contract position, located in Pflugerville, TX, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students in a dynamic, in-person setting.

Key qualifications include:

• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician license (required)
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in bilingual environments
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to identify student learning needs
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to develop effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred for bilingual diagnosticians

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Conducting comprehensive educational assessments for students with diverse learning needs
• Interpreting assessment results to guide instructional planning and support
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review IEPs
• Providing recommendations and interventions tailored to student strengths and challenges
• Maintaining accurate records and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations

This is a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY), with a focus on in-person engagement. Only candidates who can commit to working on-site in Pflugerville, TX will be considered.
