Provide comprehensive psychological services for K-12 students during the 2025–2026 school year in a Texas school district with an established need for an Educational Diagnostician.

Location: Tyler, Texas
Position Type: W-2 Contract (Non-School Year)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Service Delivery: In-person

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational assessments and psychological evaluations for K-12 students to identify learning needs and support services.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as necessary to promote academic success and emotional well-being.
  • Provide counseling and support services directly or through referrals to ensure student mental health needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, recommendations, and student progress in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Educational Diagnostician and/or School Psychologist in Texas.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings conducting assessments and providing psychological services.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school staff, students, and families.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
