A full-time opportunity is available for an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher in a high school setting located in Chicago, IL. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 7:55 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role focuses on delivering quality ESL instruction to help students improve their English proficiency while supporting their overall academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging ESL lessons tailored to high school students’ language needs.
• Assess student progress and provide individualized support.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate language development strategies across content areas.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an English as a Second Language endorsement.
