3rd Grade Teacher

Position: Elementary School Teacher
Location: Eatonton, Georgia 31024
Term: December 1, 2023 – May 30, 2024
Compensation: $46,000.00 - $56,000.00 (Based upon Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans to teach students primary subjects like math, reading, science, and comprehension.
• Work with students individually aiding them to overcome specific learning challenges.
• Prepare students for standardized tests required by the State of Georgia.
• Supervise children inside and outside of the classroom, including lunch and recess.
• Communicate with parents and administrators about the progress of children.
• Review and grade student assignments, when necessary.
• Observe students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and make suggestions on how they could improve.
• Other duties as assigned by administrators.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher
• A Georgia Teacher’s License that allows for instructing elementary students
• Previous experience teaching
