Substitute General Education Teacher | Lowell, Massachusetts

An early childhood general education teaching opportunity is available for a contracted long-term substitute position from November through April. This full-time role involves managing a caseload focused on early childhood education at an elementary early childhood center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver developmentally appropriate general education instruction to early childhood students
• Implement lesson plans in alignment with state standards and curriculum guidelines
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and collaboration
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student success

Qualifications:

• Certification in Early Childhood Education issued by the state of Massachusetts is required
• Experience teaching general education to young learners preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work full-time with consistency and reliability for the contract period
