Science General Education Teacher | Metairie, Louisiana

This opportunity is for a General Education Science Teacher position serving grades K-12, with an emphasis on high school students. The assignment is based in Metairie, LA, and runs from ASAP until May 22, 2026. This contract role requires 35 hours per week, scheduled as 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in General Education, specifically in Science
• Candidates must hold current certification; applications from those requiring a teaching certificate or awaiting certification will not be considered
• Experience teaching high school-aged students preferred
• Ability to commit to the Contract School Year (CSY) assignment duration

Primary responsibilities will include:
