ESL Gen Ed Teacher - Nashville, TN

An opportunity is available for an ESL teacher to support English Learners in a K-12 school setting in Nashville, TN, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a structured schedule and the chance to positively impact the academic progress of approximately 15 students with diverse language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted ESL instruction tailored to individual and small-group student needs, enabling language development and academic success.
• Adapt existing curriculum to create differentiated and scaffolded lessons that make grade-level content accessible to English Learners.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including multimedia and technology tools, to engage students with different language proficiencies and learning styles.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure consistent support and alignment of educational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid ESL endorsement for K-8 in Tennessee.
• Experience working with English Learners across multiple proficiency levels.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Caseload: Approximately 15 students
