General Education Teacher | Reading, Pennsylvania

Located in Lehigh County, PA, this Health & Physical Education teaching opportunity spans K-12 classrooms within multiple school districts. This part-time, contract role follows the school calendar, beginning ASAP through June 12, 2026, with approximately 20 hours per week over three days.

The position emphasizes delivering dynamic and developmentally appropriate instruction that fosters physical fitness, health literacy, and lifelong wellness. The educator will nurture students’ physical, social, and emotional growth through structured activities and health education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement standards-aligned Health and Physical Education lessons
• Promote physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Differentiate instruction to address diverse student needs and abilities
• Assess student progress and offer constructive feedback
• Ensure classroom and equipment safety
• Collaborate with school personnel and communicate with families as necessary

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Health & Physical Education PK–12 or Physical Education PK–12
• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related discipline
• Experience working with K-12 students in health and physical education settings
