A middle school is seeking a dedicated Technology Teacher with a focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE) to join their team for the current school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with students in grades 3-5 at an elementary school while fostering their skills in technology and digital literacy.
Responsibilities include delivering engaging technology instruction aligned with the curriculum, integrating Career and Technical Education principles, supporting student learning goals, and collaborating with faculty to enhance educational outcomes. The role requires a proactive approach to incorporating modern technology tools and resources into the classroom to prepare students for future tech challenges.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois teaching certification with Technology Specialist endorsement and/or approval
- CTE certification to teach Career and Technical Education courses
- Experience teaching technology or related subjects preferred
- Strong communication skills to connect with students and staff
- Ability to foster a positive and innovative learning environment
Location: Zion, Illinois (Elmwood Elementary School)

- Contract duration: ASAP through June 1, 2025
- 32.5 hours per week
- Middle school grade levels with a specific focus on grades 3-5 technology instruction
