Located in the Franklin, TN area, this contract position is seeking a skilled Braillist to support K-12 students within the local school district. This role involves working onsite full-time, primarily serving elementary-age students throughout the contract school year.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce tactile materials for visually impaired students to enhance accessibility and learning.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure appropriate instructional resources.
• Maintain accuracy and quality in all produced materials, adhering to educational standards.
• Support students’ individual learning needs through the adaptation of classroom materials.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Braillist with expertise in creating tactile educational materials.
• Familiarity with the interpretation of tactile graphics and Braille transcription.
• Ability to work effectively within a school environment, supporting elementary-age students.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality materials.

Contract Duration: January through May 21, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
