Schools LPN - Amherst, NH

Location: Amherst, New Hampshire

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and be comfortable providing medical care and assistance to students with disabilities. The LPN will work closely with the student, their teachers, and other support staff to ensure the student's needs are met and they have the best possible experience in school.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and assistance to the student as needed
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider
• Monitor the student's health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
• Communicate with the student's teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive plan of care
• Assist the student with activities of daily living, such as toileting and feeding
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for the student

Requirements:

• LPN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with students with disabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers and school staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and be flexible as needed
