Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Clearwater, FL

This position seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide health services within a K-12 school setting in Clearwater, FL. The role is full-time, onsite, and runs for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting the general health room needs across the district with flexibility to float between locations as required.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LPN/LVN or ASN nursing license required
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably including pediatric or school health
• Experience working in health room environments or with school-aged children is highly desirable
• Ability and willingness to float within various school locations based on district needs
• Willingness to complete required health and safety paperwork specific to the district, including obtaining additional state agency clearances at personal expense
• Reliable transportation and preference for locations within reasonable commute in the Clearwater and Tampa Bay area

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care, health screenings, and first aid to K-12 students during school hours (typically 7:00 am to 5:00 pm)
• Manage student health records and maintain compliance with school and state healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student health plans and emergency care
• Assist with medication administration and health education as needed
• Respond to health room needs dynamically by adapting to different school environments and student populations
