A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) with experience in tracheostomy and ventilator care is needed to provide specialized nursing support in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers approximately 30 hours per week, with workdays spanning 5 to 6 hours aligned with the school calendar. Additional hours may be available for bus riding support duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled nursing care to students requiring tracheostomy and ventilator assistance
  • Monitor and manage respiratory devices to ensure student safety throughout the school day
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to support individualized healthcare plans
  • Provide health assessments, administer medications, and respond promptly to student health needs
  • Assist with transportation support as needed during bus rides to maintain continuity of care

Qualifications:

  • Current and active LPN/LVN license
  • Proven experience in tracheostomy and ventilator management
  • Ability to work effectively within the school environment and adapt to varying daily schedules
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with educators and families
