Assignment: Contract, August 2025 – June 2026 (School Year)
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, onsite (max 7.5 hours/day)

A public school district in Tampa seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide essential health room support within K-12 educational settings. This role focuses on delivering general health services to students and staff, requiring flexibility to float between assigned locations as needed. The position requires a dedicated, experienced professional committed to fostering student well-being in a fast-paced school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer basic nursing care and first aid to students within the school health room
  • Monitor and manage student health records and documentation according to district protocols
  • Collaborate with school staff to address health concerns and emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Be prepared to float within specified locations based on district needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active LPN/LVN license or ASN degree/license required (no exceptions)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working onsite during standard school hours (generally 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
  • Flexibility to serve various school locations within the district; candidates must provide commute preferences or city areas for placement consideration
