This opportunity seeks a skilled Orientation and Mobility Specialist to provide expert services within a K-12 school setting in the Southeast Texas Coast region. The position is part-time with a contract running from January 5, 2026, to May 28, 2026, offering approximately 16 hours per week over two days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized orientation and mobility training to students ranging across K-12.
- Assess individual needs and develop tailored mobility plans.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with certification standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) certification required.
- AVCREP certification or equivalent necessary.
- Previous experience working with school-age children, ideally within K-12 settings.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with educational teams and families.
Work Details:
- Location: Southeast Texas Coast.
