An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a focus on school-based settings. This role involves providing essential support and services to students during a maternity leave contract, serving a diverse middle school caseload.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy License or COTA certification.
• Demonstrated experience in school-based therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and parents.
• Familiarity with IEPs and related documentation.

Location:

• Marietta, GA

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to approximately 45 middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' needs and monitor their progress.
• Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services to support student goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and progress made.
