Occupational Therapist School Setting - Tucson, AZ

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide onsite services in a K-12 school setting. Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy license
• Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and interventions
• Flexibility to accommodate varied schedules

Location:

• Tucson, AZ (Onsite at a K-12 School)

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring occupational therapy
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other health professionals to develop and implement IEPs
• Deliver therapy sessions that promote students' functional abilities and academic success
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and engage in professional development opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and school policies regarding therapy services
