School Occupational Therapist | Anaheim, California

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in school-based services within a K-12 setting. This role is situated in Anaheim, CA, and runs for the duration of the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and supports to students with diverse needs in a K-12 educational environment.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance students’ participation and success in their academic, social, and functional activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory and school district requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working within a school system, preferably K-12.
• Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education services.
• Ability to design and implement customized intervention plans for school-aged children.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
