A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in K-12 education, located in Anoka, MN. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to support students’ development in both fine and gross motor skills within a school setting. The opportunity is for the duration of the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services addressing fine motor, gross motor, and sensory processing needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to enhance student participation and independence in classroom activities
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience in school-based practice
• Proficiency in assessing and treating fine and gross motor skill challenges in children K-12
• Familiarity with educational regulations and IEP development
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
