Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and best practices in school-based therapy.
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education.
Location:
Hayward, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to high school students, tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ therapeutic needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
