School Occupational Therapist - Atlanta, Georgia

A full-time Occupational Therapy opportunity is available supporting four K-12 schools located in the heart of Atlanta, GA. This contract role provides critical therapeutic services within an educational setting from January 12, 2026, through May 22, 2026. Work Monday through Friday for approximately 35 hours per week, delivering specialized support to students across diverse school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultation to students in K-12 settings.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support students at four assigned schools: Hope Hill, Hillside, Springdale Park, and Morningside.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation as required.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings related to student needs.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy licensure is required.
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
• Ability to handle a caseload responsibly and manage time effectively across multiple locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and staff.
• Flexibility to work full-time hours (35 hours/week), Monday through Friday.

This position requires on-site work in the Atlanta area, with no options for remote or hybrid schedules. The contract provides competitive compensation based on experience, within the specified pay range for school-based occupational therapy professionals.
