Providing occupational therapy services to elementary school students, this full-time, in-person position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT professional preparing for the 2025-2026 school year. The role requires delivering therapeutic support to a caseload of approximately 50 students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students’ occupational therapy needs within the school setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based OT services
- Familiarity with home health, healthcare, and teletherapy OT practices is advantageous but role is strictly in-person
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students spanning Pre-K to 12th grade
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting student development in a collaborative educational environment
