An educational environment is seeking a dedicated, bilingual professional to provide essential support to students in a K-12 setting. This part-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children while promoting their educational and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop tailored occupational therapy plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions that enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Provide consultative services regarding student needs and therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication with diverse student populations.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
