Located in Saint Charles, IL, this full-time position is within a K-12 educational setting, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role primarily focuses on supporting students in resource and life skills classrooms across three schools, ensuring they receive the necessary therapeutic services to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
  • Modify tasks or classroom environments to meet individual student needs effectively.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluations as required.
  • Provide detailed reports based on student assessments and observations, offering insights into their progress.
  • Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues regarding student development and necessary supports.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois state license or qualifications to obtain one.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing student needs.
  • Experience in school-based therapy, particularly with K-12 students.
