Seeking Occupational Therapy professionals for K-12 school settings in Benson, MN. These contract positions are available for the current school year (CSY) and offer an opportunity to support students’ developmental and functional needs within educational environments.

Position Details:

  • Occupational Therapist (OT):
    • Location: To Be Determined within the district
    • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
    • Typical work hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA):
    • Multi-building assignment across elementary and secondary schools
    • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OT or COTA services tailored to K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Support students in improving motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence essential for academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification appropriate for school-based practice.
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy services preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with school staff and families.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple school assignments (for COTA role).
