School Occupational Therapist | Blackstone, Virginia

A full-time School-Based Occupational Therapist position is available to provide specialized support for K–12 students in Blackstone, VA. This role involves delivering occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment, focusing on student growth and success throughout the 2025–2026 school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct OT services to K–12 students
• Conducting evaluations and assessments
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators and support staff
• Maintaining caseload management and documenting student progress
• Utilizing teletherapy techniques as needed to support student access

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Experience in school-based OT preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfort with home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based OT settings is a plus

This contract position operates Monday through Friday during standard school hours for the entire school year, with potential for renewal. Both local therapists and travel therapists are encouraged to apply. Travel therapists are eligible for weekly tax-free stipends for housing and meals, travel reimbursements, licensing assistance, and nationwide placement opportunities.
