Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and execution

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with students, teachers, and families

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs addressing students’ physical, cognitive, and sensory needs
• Document progress and maintain compliance with relevant educational laws and school policies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions and integrate therapy into students’ daily academic routines
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student growth and success
• Offer consultative support to staff and family members on strategies for optimal student outcomes
• Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of therapy services within the school
