An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This role is crucial in helping children develop essential skills to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Valid California state license as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to varying needs.
- Experience with IEPs and documentation processes.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student development.
- Modify tasks and environments as necessary to facilitate participation in classroom activities.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and provide comprehensive reports on student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive strategies are in place for each student.
