School Occupational Therapist - Cambridge, Maryland

An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support K-12 students. This contract position spans the complete school year and is located in Cambridge, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental and educational needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities within the school setting
• Document progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed to support student growth
• Provide guidance and support to teaching staff on strategies to facilitate student participation and success

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
• Ability to design and implement effective therapeutic interventions for school-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of school-based therapy standards and compliance requirements
