Occupational Therapist School Setting in Acworth, GA

An experienced Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is sought to provide vital support in a K-12 school setting during a maternity leave. This role is focused on delivering quality care and therapeutic services to middle school students, addressing a variety of needs within a diverse caseload.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification
• Demonstrated experience in school-based therapy, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Experience with a varied student caseload, preferably around 45 students

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy services for students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
