An opportunity exists for a skilled candidate to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Brenham, TX. This contract position is focused on providing therapeutic services that enhance students' educational experiences and promote their overall development during the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes.
Location:
Brenham, TX (K-12 School Environment)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy.
- Implement therapeutic activities to address individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure integrated support for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary documentation and insights.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and needs.
